Help us say Thank you to the Men and Women of The Greatest Generation!

Honor Flight is doing a major push to find World War II Veterans in the Central Texas area.  As we all know too well, these heroes won’t be here long, for many this will be the last opportunity to see their WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C.

It is IMPERATIVE that we get out there and find these folks quick!

In preparation for our Spring 2015 flights, it is our goal to find at least 500 WWII veterans by the end of the Fall 2014 season.

Honor Flight’s mission is to transport America’s Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. This two-day trip will include a day of travel with the second day reserved exclusively for visiting those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifice.

Without your support, this Trip of a Lifetime would not happen. You play a major part in honoring our Veterans.

The Honor Flight Mission

Honor Flight Austin is preparing for our 18th Honor Flight: Sept 5th and 6th, 2014. The Honor Flight Austin mission is to transport veterans with a specific priority given to those residing within 14 counties listed below  to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices and return them home to their families and loved ones.

Honor Flight serves the following counties: Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Hays, Lee, Llano, Milam, Travis, Williamson Counties.

Of all of the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation and as a culturally diverse, free nation. It is estimated that 640 World War II veterans are dying each day, our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.

Honor Flight Austin is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. If you choose to donate with a check, please make the check out to Honor Flight Austin or donate via our online secure form.
